About Treats De Cuisine: Treats de Cuisine is a Chicago-based cat and dog treat company sourcing from our friends at local farms and helping with zero farm waste to deliver sustainable, natural, and tail-wagging treats for our four-legged friends. About the Position: Our Culinary Associate will be directly involved in our meat, fish, and vegetable production. Their primary role will be production and packaging of treats. All associates will report to Kat or Charlie regarding production levels. Responsibilities: Slice and dehydrate meat, seafood, and vegetables Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area (garbage, equipment, prep area) Communicate with ownership team regarding pars Package dehydrated products according to standards Daily organization of storage areas both dry and refrigerated Assist in receiving/storing product deliveries Candidate requirements: Basic culinary knowledge including butchery, meat slicer, product handling Has 2 years culinary or prep experience in a kitchen setting Has the ability to lift 30 lbs. Understands basic sanitation practices regarding all products and procedures Can stand for long periods of time
